Alright folks, AMD has finally released more info on RYZEN specs and prices. All the RYZEN CPUs will reach stores on 2nd March. AMD's flagship CPU is the RYZEN 7 1800X which is clocked at 4 which can be turbo boosted is priced at 499$. AMD compared this CPU head to head with Intel Core i7-6900K and the 1800X clearly out performed it. Then AMD has RYZEN 7 1700 CPU that has 8 cores and 16 threads. Clocked at 3Ghz and with a turbo boost of 3.7Ghz, Ryzen 7 1700 is the lowest-power 8-core desktop chip you can buy, with a 65W thermal design target. And if you snag the new Wraith Spire cooler (included with the 1700), you'll have a relatively silent system with a 32dB noise level. The RYZEN 7 1700 is priced at 329$. Also there is the RYZEN 7 1700X, The 3.4GHz 1700X reportedly outperforms the Core i7 6800K at a lower $399 price tag. All these RYZEN CPUs have 8 cores and 16 threads. AMD compared the RYZEN 7 1700 with Intel Core i7-7700K and the 1700 preformed a lot faster than 7700K in cinebench and handbrake results. Also there were some gaming test in which RYZEN gave much smoother frames than Intel. Anyway RYZEN is here to offer more specs at nearly half the price of an Intel CPU. What do you think?
